Dr. Rhee
Susie Rhee, MD, is a board-certified female plastic surgeon at Plastic Surgery Associates of Long Island in Roslyn Heights, New York. Dr. Rhee is based in Nassau County, New York, but serves all of Long Island. She is a dedicated patient advocate whose priorities include patient safety, satisfaction, and excellence in clinical care.
Dr. Rhee completed her plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, followed by a prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship with the world-renowned Dr. James C. Grotting in Birmingham, Alabama. She was previously in private practice in Florida, specializing exclusively in cosmetic surgery, but afterward spent time at one of most premier cosmetic surgery clinics in Gangnam, Seoul, South Korea. This international education allowed her to learn the latest advancements and techniques in Asian patients, including Asian blepharoplasty and Asian rhinoplasty. She is also fully trained in general surgery.
Dr. Rhee was instilled with the values of compassion and uncompromising patient care at an early age when her own father was lost to a battle with leukemia. Her formal training in classical violin cultivated meticulous hand-eye coordination, discipline, and excellent technical skills. Her background in fine arts has enabled her to appreciate the anatomy better and foster an artistic eye.
