Introduction

Introduction to AlloClae

Are you seeking a treatment that can restore lost volume and achieve beautiful, natural-looking contours and sculpted features, all without the inconvenience of multiple days of downtime? Look no further! At Plastic Surgery Associates of Long Island (PSAOLI), we help patients across Long Island, including those in Roslyn, Roslyn Heights, Garden City, Manhasset, Queens, and beyond, achieve these results through our popular AlloClae treatment.

AlloClae gives patients long-lasting volume and corrects asymmetry using 100% biological donor tissue that blends with their features. This makes it possible for individuals with a slender frame and minimal fat tissue to achieve these smooth, gorgeous contours without the need to transfer tissue from their own bodies.

What is AlloClae?

AlloClae is an injectable treatment designed to smooth irregularities and add volume to targeted areas of the body. It is derived from purified, processed donor fat, which is injected into specific areas with unwanted irregularities, such as volume loss, skin depressions, and asymmetry. AlloClae is unique because it adds volume to the body without surgery or liposuction, where fat from your own body is harvested. This makes the treatment more accessible to individuals with slimmer frames who do not have sufficient excess body fat to transfer.

Our patients in Long Island and the Roslyn, Roslyn Heights, Garden City, Manhasset, and Queens areas typically target the breasts, hips, or buttocks, but other areas can also be treated to fill in contour irregularities, dimples, and scars. AlloClae provides beautiful, smooth, natural-looking results because it uses real tissue instead of synthetic fillers.

What’s the First Step?

Start your AlloClae journey with a scheduled consultation at our Long Island office. For patients in Roslyn, Roslyn Heights, Garden City, Manhasset, and Queens, your consultation allows Dr. Sotirios Papafragkou to examine the areas of your body you wish to contour and to discuss your aesthetic goals and expectations. You’ll also review your medical history to ensure the treatment is a safe option.

Dr. Papfragkou has given AlloClae to thousands of patients and will show you before-and-after photos to help you better understand how the treatment can benefit you. You’ll discuss how much AlloClae you’d need to achieve your goals and whether you want to combine additional procedures. Once Dr. Papafragkou determines you meet the standards for AlloClae treatment, he will create a personalized treatment plan.

First Step

What to Expect on the Day of AlloClae Treatment

Your AlloClae treatment will take place at our state-of-the-art office in Long Island. After you check in, we’ll take you to a room where you’ll receive your treatment. You’ll go over the treatment details with Dr. Papafragkou and can ask any lingering questions about the procedure and recovery.

To begin the treatment, Dr. Papafragkou will cleanse the targeted areas of your skin and apply a local anesthetic to maximize your comfort. When the areas have been numbed, Dr. Papafragkou will carefully inject the AlloClae into the targeted areas. You may feel a slight, brief prick, but the numbing agent will significantly decrease how much you feel it. Dr. Papafragkou will strategically sculpt the areas to create natural-looking contours that align with your aesthetic goals. When the session is complete, you can continue doing regular activities the same day, besides strenuous exercise.

Your Guide to Post-AlloClae Care

Our AlloClae patients across Long Island, Roslyn, Roslyn Heights, Garden City, Manhasset, and Queens love the treatment not only for its incredibly natural-looking, beautiful contouring results, but also for the quick recovery time. AlloClae is an injectable treatment that does not require any incisions, stitches, general anesthesia, or excessive downtime. You will still experience some mild swelling, soreness, tightness, and bruising for a few days, but these are tolerable.

You may need to wear a compression garment until the area has healed well enough to take on the desired shape and the tissues have adjusted to the AlloClae injections. You may need to avoid UV exposure and touching the treated areas for a few days until Dr. Papafragkou clears you. You’ll be able to return to normal activities within 24 hours of the treatment.
